Our Story.

The idea of a subscription-based business had been in my mind for some time, but I could never quite land on a product I felt passionate enough about to build it around.

During lockdown in March 2020, I noticed a shift in everyday life. People in my local community began walking more, not for fitness goals or training plans, but simply to get outside, clear their heads, and make the most of the natural surroundings right on their doorstep.

Around the same time, as an avid coffee drinker, I found myself taking coffee along on those walks. That’s when the idea clicked.

Why not create a coffee subscription that delivers freshly roasted, made-to-order coffee each month, coffee that’s easy to take with you, to enjoy outdoors, and to turn simple moments into something a little better?

And so, Coffee And Coast was born.

What started as a specialty coffee subscription has since grown into something broader. Today, Coffee And Coast is about discovering great coffees from around the world, enjoying seasonal flavours, and building simple rituals around good coffee, whether that’s at home, on a coastal walk, after a run, or shared with others.

Along the way, we have expanded into portable brewing gear, community meet-ups, and collaborations that bring coffee and the outdoors together in a more meaningful way.

At its core, Coffee And Coast exists to encourage a slower, more intentional lifestyle: drink good coffee, get outside, and enjoy the everyday moments in between.

A business born during a time of disruption, and shaped by the idea that small things, done well, can make a real difference.
